SULTANAH NUR ZAHIRAH Source: theadmirehunkz.blogspot.com                   Sultanah Nur Zahirah or Rozita binti Adil Bakeri was born 7 December 1973,  in Alor Star, Kedah, Malaysia. She is the current Sultanah of Terengganu. She was the 13th Raja Permaisuri Agong (Queen Consort) of Malaysia from 2006 to 2011. She received her primary school education at Sekolah Kebangsaan St. Nicholas' Convent, and her secondary school education at SMK St. Nicholas' Convent, both in Alor Star, Kedah, where she was a student librarian and Girl Guides member. She married Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu on 28 March 1996 in Kuala Terengganu. source: The Malaysia History source: TAR Biography TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN, a “Father of Independence” also known as Bapa Kemerdekaan, was born at Alor Setar, Kedah on Feb 8, 1903. Son of the 24th ruler of Kedah, Sultan Abdul Hamid.  In 1920, he left those idyllic days behind when he went to England to read law at St Catherine College in Cambridge. It was there that he began to develop anti-colonial feelings after being refused a place in the halls of residence twice, he said in his column for The Star which ran from 1974 to 1989. “When I remonstrated with (one of his tutors) Rev Chaytor, he told me point blank, ‘The college was built for Englishmen. If I gave you a room to the exclusion of Englishmen they would not like it.’ ” It was also at Cambridge that the Tunku got his first taste of politics when he became a student leader. FIRST LADY OF MALAYSIA Source: itsnabilck.com                     She was born in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan on December 10th 1951, Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor has come a long way from her home in the suburbs and her secondary schooling at the Tunku Kurshiah College, a prestigious boarding school for bright Malay girls in Malaysia.                After completing her tertiary and higher education at University Malaya and Louisiana State University in 1974 and 1978 respectively, Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor returned to launch her corporate career, putting to good use her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology and her Master's degree in Sociology and Agriculture Extension.
