                            On 28th January 2017, most of the Malaysian were excited to celebrate Chinese New Year especially Chinese community as this is their one-year opportunity to gather with their beloved family. As for the other races, they would love Chinese New Year as this is one of the longest school break for them to spend with the family.

                             The year of 2017 is known as Year of The Rooster which the community believed that people who was born on the year of rooster is beautiful, kind-hearted, hardworking, courageous, independent, humorous and honest. Some said that, one might be arrogant, self-aggrandising, persuasive and will admire things or person blindly.

                             According to Chinese Community, there are a few Chinese's Cuisine which are famous during the celebration and to be said as lucky food. According to the picture below, these food is believed to bring prosperity, wealth, happiness and longevity of the person.

                           On 15th February 2017, our college has held a celebration to celebrate the Chinese New  Year which attended by all the staffs, lecturers and students. Variety of delicious food being served by the catering. There are also few shows being held such as Fireworks Show, Chinese Opera, 'Tarian Singa' and also 'Pukulan Gendang'.

                          
                          Below pictures are the examples of the show during the celebration which I collected from the internet as I did not have much time to capture those beautiful moments.
