HITLER IS A GREAT LEADER?

Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) was the Supreme Chancellor of Nazi Party and the leader of National Socialist German Worker Party. He was also well-known for triggering the Second World War and creating fascist dictatorship which has caused about 62 million deaths, (Stokes, 2008).

But then, what makes him a great leader?

1.    Confident
He had a lot of confidence thinking that he could achieve his goals. Although in the end his confidence was overturned, he did have it which is a good characteristic of a leader.

2.    Influential
Hitler was a man skilled with the sword as well as words. He used nationalism as a tool for igniting the interests of people to follow his cause. Hitler was influential because he had a big vision and people need big visions to be motivated, so he motivate people. People become what they are constantly being exposed to. Through the constant use of media and communications, he managed to cause a whole nation to think alike to serve his cause.

3.    Captivating Public Speaker
Hitler would enrapture crowds with his vision. Public speaking is one of the essential skills of a leader. Whether we are able to have followers, it still really depend on our ability to rally them through inspiration. Like it or not, public speaking is always one of the common traits of the top leaders in the world.

4.    Understanding
Hitler understood human nature very well. He knew how to use human nature to gain his personel need and with that knowledge, he conquered them all. Much of human nature can be easily seen in ourselves. A good leader always understands what he is dealing with.

Most of leadership mainly relies on personality and charm. Even Hitler does not have a natural charm, he still have effective ways to lead a group using motivation and high morals. Not many people will agree with the fact that a man like Hitler is called a great leader but his leadership skills were powerful. His plans are something we have to duly give him and him alone. In conclusion, Hitler was a leader, mainly due to his positional power and influence on others surrounding his vision. The most famous negative charismatic leader would be Adolf Hitler.
